Christmas
What do you think of when you hear the words, "Have a Happy Holiday Season". I am appalled at how people are so concerned about offending someone by saying "Merry Christmas". Do they realize that by trying not to offending others, they are offending the very God who sent His son as a baby so He could one day die for our sins? That is the whole reason for our season. The reason we should celebrate.
It is easy at this time of year to get caught up with finishing school, gifts to be bought, things to do, etc. It's not that these things are the problem. But, we can't lose sight of the whole reason we celebrate. Jesus came so that we could have eternal life and forgiveness of our sins through Him. It worries me, because if the world is trying this hard now to deny the whole reason we even celebrate Christmas, what will it be like later if we don't take a stand?
